Tatami Nova Gi

I also bought this exact gi about year and half ago in A2. It fit perfect at first but then after 5th wash it shrunk to the point that it was unwearable. Definitely go up in sizes and prepare for major shrinkage

A2 will fit. But then nova is cost efficient for a reason. Shrinkage on the nova is greater than Fuji or other tatami gi. My A2 was always warm washed and air dried just like all my other gi and, did well but gradually shrunk to about an a1 size in about 2 month span. The white gi will definitely look dirty soon.

Ive had fuji wartribe inverted gear and tatami gis. Its been my experience that if you dont machine dry any of them, they shrinkage rate on all is minimal. But if you EVER dry any of them in a machine... the tatami will shrink more than any other gi. To the point that it easily becomes unwearable. But the nova is by far the lightest gi ive ever owned. Fuji most durable.
